This brightening gel features a blend of concentrated (yet safe) ingredients to help fade lingering dark spots and post-acne marks. Unlike hydroquinone, which can have adverse effects on dark skin tones, t acid (a derm favorite for melasma, the most stubborn form of hyperpigmentation), kojic acid, licorice root, and niacinamide work together to impede melanin production and even out skin tone without irritation. Saturated with anti-inflammatories and antioxidants, this gel also strengthens the skin’s barrier to help prevent future damage. Remember: Brightening discoloration takes time. Use the precision applicator to apply twice a day for 6-8 weeks for best results.

The gel may feel slightly tacky at first—that ensures the ingredients stay put until the formula is fully absorbed. The color could change over time but don’t worry, this doesn’t impact the efficacy of the product.
